4 lasers spatially separated 405 nm (violet), 488 nm (blue), 561 nm (yellow/green) and 633 nm (red), for excitation. The instrument records up to 15 parameters in parallel as described in the optical configuration.
70 µm, 85 µm and 100 µm nozzles are available.
Please consult our guidelines for sample preparation if you are unclear about how to prepare your cells for the sorting.
Samples as well as collected cells can be kept at desired temperature (4° - 42°C).
Sorted cells can be collected in following containers
Operator based sorts up to BSL3 level can berequested Tue+Thu from 09:00 - 17:00. Users can participate in the gating strategy via remote computer access (here) but are not allowed to enter the lab.
Generally, power user training is performed on the regular cell sorters. Independent power users require an additional BSL3 training before they can access this sorter.
Samples ranging from infected human cells - pathogens can be sorted here.
The sorter is located in a biosafety lab class III and is enclosed in a biosafety hood class II.
We can help to classify your sample according to BSL regulations, please contact Claudia Dumrese in case of questions.
